Cinnamon Sugar Ghost Toast

The perfect sweet treat for your trick or treat-er(s) on Halloween morning!! The cinnamon and sugar caramelizes under the broiler and creating a delicious crunch! I made these for my daughter but my hubby and I loved them just as much!

Makes: 6 servings

INGREDIENTS

slices white or white whole-grain bread, lightly toasted
4 1/2
teaspoons butter or margarine, softened
6
teaspoons cinnamon-sugar
18
miniature semisweet chocolate chips, if desired

DIRECTIONS

1Set oven control to broil. With 4-inch ghost-shaped cookie cutter, cut bread into ghost shapes. Spread softened butter on cutouts. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.2Broil with tops about 5 inches from heat 2 to 3 minutes or until topping is caramelized. Add miniature chocolate chips to each ghost for eyes and mouth.
Process bread trimmings in a food processor to make crumbs and freeze bread crumbs in resealable freezer plastic bag.
