S’mores Brownies

29 Feb

These s’mores bars are so easy and so delicious! A dangerous combination because its hard to resist eating the whole pan yourself! Your family and friends will gladly help take some off your hands for you, I’m sure! These are good all year round, and for any occasion. Send them to school with the kiddos, take them to the bonfires in the Summer and Fall months, make them in the winter when you’re dreaming of bonfires. It doesn’t matter why you make them, just do it! You won’t be sorry!

S’mores Brownies

Original Recipe Yield 1 – 9×13 inch pan

Ingredients

1 (21.5 ounce) package brownie mix

6 graham crackers

2 cups miniature marshmallows

8 (1.5 ounce) bars milk chocolate, coarsely chopped (I use mini chocolate chips!)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Spread into a greased 9×13 inch pan.

In a medium bowl, break graham crackers into 1 inch pieces and toss with miniature marshmallows and milk chocolate. Set s’more mixture aside.

Bake brownies according to package directions in the preheated oven. Remove with five minutes of cook time remaining, and sprinkle the s’more goodies evenly over the top. Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow brownies to cool before cutting into squares.

Recipe given to me by a close family friend.
